Why isn’t education related to steroids successful for American youth?

American youth adore their sports stars. They have already numerous such idols from the days of the baseball players Babe Ruth and Shoeless Joe Jackson till the stars of nowadays: the football player Peyton Manning and the baseball player Derek Jeter. Youth observe and repeat their each move.
Isn’t it dangerous to idolize sports stars of today? It may be risky. Today sports heroes obtain millions of dollars due to administration of steroids. However the NFL and the MLB fight against doping, the war seems to lack success. Usage of steroids like cancer destroys sports. Although American youth are taught about serious adverse reactions of these medications, the results are not good.
It is said that youth are suppressed to apply steroids. They put efforts to meet the required criteria of college admission; they idolize current professional sportspersons. The all these aspects induce applying steroids.
Of course, all parents desire their children to be successful. If children go info sports, their parents desire them to win and to continue to play professionally. Children realize that it is difficult to do it. Which are the consequences? The pressure impacts greatly on American youth.  Over 10 % of teenagers feel that they have to lie in order to be successful. College admission levels have dropped because of budget cuts. The Recovery Place supposes that it can cause the situation, when high school students will look for other methods to be able to stand out among crowds. Doping can seem for teenagers to be the best alternative method.
American youth know that a lot of professional athletes have succeeded differently. Some of them did it because of their talents and intensive trainings; others applied steroids and other related drugs. If American youth follow those who dope, which will be the results?
Prolonged administration of steroids may cause addiction to these preparations. Furthermore, users of steroids can suffer from such side consequences, as liver disorders, cancer, hypertension, icterus, kidney dysfunctions and bad cholesterol. These unwanted reactions are considered to be severe; they can threaten to life.
Of course, parents don’t desire to see their children with destroyed health. They want their children to achieve goals due to devotion to sports and hard workouts. But it is difficult to do it because many others lie, applying steroids. Now it is time to do everything to push out steroids. These preparations shouldn’t disturb to reach our goals.

Baseball players that don’t dope deserve honor

There is a topic which promotes hot discussions. Especially baseball fans are excited, if they hear about steroids and their influence on this sport. So, if you want to cause hot discussions, you only need to note that some baseball stars win due to administration of steroids.
Different individuals have different opinions, when it comes to the theme about steroids. Sometimes it is difficult to understand why certain people that play baseball take steroids. Do they play baseball only for money? Are they so blinded by money and other awards that they do everything for these perspectives? Of course, the most respected baseball players are those that stay far from steroid use and win due to natural talents. Those deserve respect, honor and awards who are not lured to take prohibited drugs for achievement of their goals.
It is believed that steroid users shouldn’t be elected for the Hall of Fame. This factor represents trying to escape from shame related to the steroid era. You can see efforts to leave all unpleasant aspects in past and to move further. But do these efforts to demonize steroid users mean that the steroid era is over? Actually, a wrong impression is created here. The steroid era is not behind us yet. Those that suppose that blaming steroid users mean that baseball is drug-free are mistaken.
Everybody knows that many players of baseball have administrated anabolic steroids and other related drugs. Moreover, nobody doubts that today there are such players of baseball that continue to take banned medicines. Many people discuss whether a player with average skills can transform in a great player due to usage of forbidden medicines. Several individuals confirm that without appropriate talents steroids don’t profit. Talents should present. Others do not agree with this affirmation. They claim that steroids have ability to enhance performance whatever talent a person has.
But the problem is that we condemn players that dope alone. But not only sportspeople must be condemned for the steroid era. Everyone knows what happens really during the steroid era.
It is unlikely that the steroid era is over. Baseball hasn’t yet past the dark clouds. Administration of steroids is still deeply in the soul of baseball. Decisive efforts must present to be convinced that doping doesn’t affect baseball longer.

Motivations of Dominicans to obtain a contract to play in the MLB

The Major League Baseball put efforts to prevent administration of steroids. It desires to nip doping in the bud. Then it will be able to achieve the big show. A location where the efforts of the MLB are applied and clearly seen is the Dominican Republic.
Those who live in the Dominican Republic desire to play professional baseball in the U. S. This is not only a dream. This desire becomes real. Thus, the whole family changes the location where the family lives. Unluckily, a lot of individuals are lured to administrate steroids and other related drugs which increase performance to achieve their goal.
The Dominican Republic is a country where a lot of individuals use steroids and other products that promote performance. That’s why a sportsperson from this location is asked whether he has used steroids or other related products. Undoubtedly, this person claims that he has never doped because tests are performed and anybody is afraid to be caught using any controlled substance.
The MLB subjects to tests athletes from the Dominican Republic. Thus, one year 13 persons out of 40 tested amateur sportspersons from this location tested positive. The MLB plans to tests Dominicans and to penalize those who dope.
It is said that the number of Dominicans that are sent to the MLB is significantly higher than the number of players that are sent from all countries of the Latin America.
The MLB tries to push steroids out of baseball. Amateur players are taught about risks for their health connected with steroids. They are educated about undesirable results that may be provoked by steroids.
The financial position of the Dominican Republic is a significant problem in this situation. The average wage is approximately 8, 5000 dollars per year there. To get a signing bonus of 180, 000 dollars is a true achievement for any athlete from this Republic. That’s why sportspersons from this country are especially inclined to dope for such perspectives. They want to obtain a contract for playing professional baseball in the MLB. They want to get it for well-being of their families and for improvement of their lives in future. Obtaining a contract means moving from a rented small house to a private home, from poverty to normal conditions of life, from travelling by public transport to driving own car.
Actually, intake of steroids is not a problem just in that is limited within the Dominican Republic. It is a problem that corrupts the whole world. No one athlete can be sure whether he competes against a person that has natural skills and talents or against a person that administrates steroids and other related medications. That’s why it is necessary to nip intake of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs in the bud.
Youth should be taught about troubles linked with doping not only in the Dominican Republic or only in the U. S. but around the world.

Bright hopes related to baseball in future

The Major League Baseball survived certain difficult periods of time. It survived two situations which are considered to be 2 world wars for baseball: the 1919 Black Sox scandal and the betting of Pete Rose on baseball. Today the MLB experiences steroid era. It is widely believed that it will be able to survive this period too. There was a case that had an essential influence on baseball as well. It was the case related to Barry Bonds.
Undoubtedly, Barry Bonds was not the only baseball player that administrated medications which enhance performance. Moreover, he is not the last of them. Numerous baseball players have applied banned preparations to increase performance. Numerous players of baseball have received awards and millions of dollars due to usage of banned drugs.
The sums of money that can be obtained justify the risks related to intake of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. The baseball players that administrate banned medicines do not care so scrupulously about their reputation, as they trouble about obtaining of money. Such persons are responsible for the influence which is spread upon fans that try to be similar to them and upon future generation that will have hot discussions about baseball and the steroid era.
Nobody may doubt that any baseball player who administrates steroids corrupts his honor. It is made only for money. Such player trades own honor just for getting money.
Nevertheless, it is believed that future of baseball is without steroid use. A lot of baseball players have talents and proper skills; they train intensively and dedicate themselves wholly to this sport. They are honest people. They keep their image. Such persons love baseball truly. They don’t worry only about money. Such baseball players are motivated by true love to baseball.
In fact, the MLB prohibits steroids. But unluckily, there are individuals in each sport who profit from intake of steroids.
Our hope is bright: we believe that the day comes, when we’ll observe sportspersons that compete not because of administration of steroids and other related preparations but due to natural talents, skills and hard trainings.

Steroids in news

The theme related to steroids appears everywhere. It is widely debated by a lot of persons. Everyday a lot of articles mention about these products. You read news that report about individuals who use steroids. You come across stories about those who are caught selling steroids and sentenced to probation or jail. However steroids are recommended for numerous people to treat them from certain illnesses, usage of these products for performance-enhancing effects is more widely spread. It seems that it destroy the whole world.
Many persons are controlled by money. If they may earn money due to sales or administration of anabolic steroids, they do it. They are not stopped by the laws. They use and distribute these preparations, however they are claimed to be illegal in several countries. Numerous people break steroid laws because they may get money, selling and/or taking steroids.
No one doubts that you have read some articles about wrestlers that have applied banned medications for many years. Some of consumers died due to sudden attacks, being young. But nobody wants to admit that fatal cases happen because steroids. Many individuals deny links between severe medical conditions and usage of steroids.
The Major League Baseball wants to escape from steroid era. We believe that the time comes, when baseball will be played without steroids and winners will be decided due to natural talent and skills of players but not due to drugs that have performance-enhancing effects.
It is impossible to be sure that you realize how wide spread usage of banned drugs is in professional and non-professional sports. Administration of steroids by competitive sportspeople is cheating. If athletes administrate medicines which enhance performance, they lie. They take unfair advantage during competitions.
Any steroid user who goes info sports should recognize whether he/she has talent to be involved in sports. If he/she can’t compete, he/she must have another job. Each individual should do the job he/she really can do. So, if you are not able to play football, you should do another job.
There is a hope that administration of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs will be discontinued in sports. It may be that this time will be soon in the future. Who knows?

A person that cares about 5 children and his ill wife is sentenced to prison because he was in a wrong place at a wrong time

The laws which criminalize usage of anabolic steroids have appeared due to certain conditions. They turned out to be responses to widespread intake of steroids in competitive sports. Anti-Doping Agencies thought that prohibition of steroids would keep professional sportspersons far from usage of illegal products. But criminalization of steroids influenced on usage of steroids by competitive sportspeople slightly.
The steroid laws commonly do not prosecute sportspeople that administrate illegal drugs. On the contrary, non-competitive sportspersons and recreational bodybuilders are usually targets of the steroid laws. They suffer due to consequences of breaking these laws.
This is not just one’s point of view. This is reality. Let see: who is sentenced to imprisonment because of selling steroids? For example, Ashley Dewayne Rivers of Alabama received 5 months in jail because he had sold about $2000 worth of steroids to a health care provider. Actually, this individual wasn’t the target of a steroid investigation. He just turned out to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The estranged wife of this physician talked to federal investigators that her husband was involved in operations of black steroid market. So, the statement of this woman led to the situation, when the doctor was investigated.
In fact, Rivers was a supplier of steroids for short period of time. This person supplied his friends of his gym with these medicines. James Robinson, the defense attorney for Ashley Rivers, said that his client had understood his guilty wholly and taken the total responsibility for his illegal actions.  The attorney noted that Rivers was a good individual. However he violated the steroid laws, he realized the dangers and acknowledged his guilty.
The attorney for Rivers Ashley asked the judge to sentence Rivers Ashley only to probation.  Ashley Rivers cared about his wheelchair-bound wife, 2 children that were adopted by him  and 3 children of his disabled brother. Moreover, this person gave about 40, 000 dollars for people that lost their homes due to tornadoes. It would be better, if this man were sentenced to probation. He would continue to work for his family and other people.
But Christopher Brinson, the Assistant U. S. Attorney, refused the request of James Robinson. He claimed that Rivers committed a serious crime and he should serve time in prison. However the judge was inclined to agree with the request of the defense attorney James Robinson  at the beginning, finally he decided to agree with the Assistant U.S. Attorney and sentenced Rivers to 5 months in jail.
You may see that steroid laws don’t influence on professional sportspersons.

Jose Canseco plays for the Tigres de Quintana Roo of Cancun

Jose Canseco is a former player of the Major League Baseball. He was banned for intake of steroids. This baseball player wrote a book “Juiced” in which he noted that numerous players of the MLB doped.
Now he has been invited to play for the Tigres de Quintana Roo of Cancun. This person has claimed about his desire to play in the MLB again. This person has written on Twitter that Cancun is his following step towards the MLB.
This person has not played professional baseball since 2001 after he had played for the Chicago White Sox. This player was probably blackballed by baseball due to his affirmations connected with steroids and presented in the book “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant ‘Roids, Smash Hits & How Baseball Got Big”.  He has identified himself as the “godfather” of steroids in baseball and took credit for introducing these preparations in baseball. Jose Canseco openly acknowledged in his book that he had used anabolic steroids and other medications which cause performance-enhancing effects. Jose Canseco mentioned also names of other baseball players that took steroids. Such individuals, as  Mark McGwire, Juan Gonzalez, Rafael Palmeiro, Ivan Rodriguez, and Jason Giambi were identified by Jose Canseco.
Although anabolic steroids can be purchased without any prescription at Mexican pharmacies, they are prohibited in MLB.
According to certain reports, Jose Canseco will be tested for prohibited medicines by the Quintana Roo Tigers.
The former baseball player confirms that he has stopped using steroids several years ago. According to several sources, since discontinuing using steroids it had been recommended testosterone replacement therapy for him to treat some problems linked with reduced testosterone level.
The Cuban-American former baseball player noticed that he had had several undesirable symptoms due to intake of steroids. So, his health care provider had to prescribe him a testosterone gel to relieve from low libido and depression.
While he put efforts to restore his natural production of testosterone, he got some troubles with laws. This former baseball player was detained for about 9 hours by the San Diego Immigration and Customs Enforcement after he had been caught possessing a vial of HCG at the international border. His house was raided by police officials but no any steroids were discovered.
However Jose Canseco will never escape from his steroid past, he tries to continue playing baseball professionally.

Some stars of the UFC use steroids for medical needs

Several mixed martial artists have publicly acknowledged that they take anabolic steroids as a part of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) which has been indicated by health care providers. Keith Kizer, the executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC), states that this factor has created an impression among many individuals that steroid exemptions are given to permit MMA fighters to use the steroid testosterone.
During an interview with Ben Fowlkes of MMA Fighting Keith Kizer noticed that some individuals thought that any fighter could obtain exemptions for administration of testosterone. He noticed that he couldn’t say it about other states but he mentioned about the situation in Nevada. According to the executive director of the NSAC,  it is 50/50 whether a request for steroid exemption  will be approved.
TRT is a treatment which is required for adult men that suffer from hypogonadism (reduced testosterone levels). If sportspersons correspond to the medical criteria, they may be allowed to administrate steroids.
The NSAC has strict requirements for fighter who try to obtain a therapeutic use exemption (TUE) for usage of steroids. An athlete must show the document which displays that blood levels of testosterone are low.  But if an athlete has low level of testosterone, it is not enough to get a TUE. Treating doctors must identify reasons and medical conditions. The details connected with testosterone replacement therapy should be identified by health care providers as well. Each detail should manifest that a fighter should  take testosterone for medical needs and usage of steroids will not give unfair advantage to the athlete.
Certain top athletes of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) have used steroids for TRT. Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt, Dennis Hallman and Dan Henderson belong to the starts of the UFC who administrate steroids for medical purposes.
Keith Kizer, the executive director of the NSAC claims that prohibition of steroids makes MMA safer. He adds that if a fighter administrates steroids, he/she takes unfair advantage as if it is applied knuckles that are hidden inside gloves.  So, this is not just cheating. This aspect is related to dangers for life. If you say to a fighter that you can put knuckles in the gloves so, as no one will observe it, this person will say you not to bother him. But it is strangely that such person uses steroids.
Undoubtedly, administration of steroids has potential dangers to increase the harm which can be caused in MMA.

A father that has injected his son with steroids tells high school athletes that steroids are dangerous

James Gahan injected his son Corey who is 13 years old with anabolic steroids. The father wanted him to become an Olympic athlete.
This boy is an inline skating champion at the national level. This boy won the 2004 Inline Speed Skating Nationals. He also obtained the 2nd  place at the 2005 National Indoor Speed Skating Championship.
The father of Corey pleaded guilty in possessing and injecting steroids to his small son. This person collaborated with a trainer from Florida to provide the young athlete with following drugs: testosterone, Deca Durabolin, HGH and HCG. James Gahan was arrested in May, 2004. As a result of his illegal actions, he received 6 years in prison.
Since James Gahan had already completed his time in a prison, he was released. James Gahan started to claim that his attitude to steroids and other controlled substances had been changed totally. James Gahan talked to high school athletes about risks related to administration of steroids. It was a part of his community service to which he had  been ordered by the court.
James Gahan noted nothing about influence of steroids on the life and health of his 13-year old son. This person noted only about own experiences with these medicines. James Gahan noticed that if one wanted to see adverse reactions of anabolic steroids, he might display them because he administrated these drugs. He mentioned that he took 45 pills daily and his insides had eroded.
Actually, James didn’t explain what he meant, claiming that his insides had eroded because of steroids. He said nothing about his disease which required 45 tablets per one day!
This person said about Corey that he had known everything they had done. But he noted that since he was the father, he took the complete responsibility upon himself. But James Gahan concluded that it would be better for his son to acknowledge that he had lied.
But Corey doesn’t want to talk to his father who has injected him with steroids. Earlier he has said that his father has never been sorry for injecting him with steroids; he has been sorry because he has been caught doing it.

Colin Daynes says that if people are able, they may judge him for usage of steroids

The Greco-Roman wrestler Colin Daynes wanted to represent Canada at the 2012 London Olympics. But his dreams will not be real. Administration of banned drugs became a reason for it. Colin Daynes was caught taking steroids, diuretics and a selective estrogen receptor modulator.
Earlier this wrestler won the 74 kg division at the Canadian Wrestling Qualification Trials.
According to the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sports, Colin Daynes tested positive for such forbidden medications, as boldenone, drostanolone, furosemide and tamoxifen. Boldenone and drostanolone belong to anabolic steroids that are better known under their trade names: Equipose and Masteron. When it comes to Tamoxifen, it is known as Nolvadex. This medication is usually administrated in combinations with certain others in order to minimize fluid retention. Furosemide or Lasix belongs to the class of diuretics. Wrestlers use this medication as well as other diuretics to lose body weight to correspond to requirements of certain weight categories.
Colin Daynes admitted that he had administrated anabolic steroids and other prohibited preparations intentionally. This wrestler noticed that he had used these medications to get recovery from a partially-torn bicep and an elbow injury.  But this wrestler added that he hadn’t known that these drugs were prohibited by the WADA. This wrestler blamed his prescriber for this factor. He said that he had consulted a naturopathic doctor that advised him using these preparations. The wrestler noticed that if he had known that the medications were forbidden, he would not have competed.
The Greco-Roman wrestler represented Canada at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. After he won the national trials in 2008 he desired to participate in the Beijing Olympics. But he didn’t participate in this Olympics because he couldn’t qualify at the international level. Recently this wrestler won the Canadian Wrestling Qualifying Trials in December, 2011, and was scheduled to secure his allowance for the 2012 London Olympics through the competition at the Pan American Wrestling Championship.
But due to administration of banned medications Colin Daynes has received 2-year ban. It means that colin Daynes is not permitted to compete till December 2012, when his athletic career ends too.
Colin Daynes reported that he had represented the native country proudly. He concluded that people might judge him, if they wanted to do it after the successful career of 25 years and everything he had done.

The investigation against Armstrong that lasted 2 years was closed

The case against Lance Armstrong connected with doping is proclaimed to be closed. This person remains to be considered a champion that won at the Tour de France 7 times.
It is known that federal prosecutors put efforts to define whether this cyclist and his teammates have joined a doping program. The length of the investigation has been about 2 years.
Lance Armstrong denied that he has used forbidden drugs. The accusations against Lance Armstrong threatened to his athletic career as well as to his Foundation of cancer research and support. The efforts to prove that this athlete used steroids were in vain.
This cyclist claimed that he had heard that the US Attorney’s Office made a decision to close the case. He noted that it was a right decision. Armstrong mentioned that he was waiting to continue his usual life, being a father, a competitor and an advocate in the fight against cancer.
The attorney Andre Birotte announced during a press conference that the US Attorney’s Office closed the investigation connected with the case of Lance Armstrong. This attorney didn’t mention about any reason of this decision. But he indicated that come previous similar cases were also closed.
For example, the investigation connected with Barry Bonds was claimed to be unsuccessful. Prosecutors were not able to prove that this athlete had lied about administration of steroids. As for the case related to Roger Clemens, the trial was indicated for another time because the judge declared about previous mistrial.
Investigators suspected that a doping program was established by Armstrong’s team. They wanted to define whether it was so as they believed. Authorities investigated whether Lance Armstrong encouraged or promoted doping.
In fact, prosecutors tried to find out whether Armstrong and his team broke federal conspiracy and fraud charges. While Barry Bonds testified before a federal grand jury and Clemens testified before Congress, Armstrong wasn’t forced to present before a grand jury. Barry Bonds and Clemens were accused in lying under oath.
The former Armstrong’s teammate Frank and her wife Betsy Andreu charged Armstrong with administration of controlled substance. They noticed that they were shocked by the decision to close the case. They added that such situations happened due to power of money.

Media presents affirmations of some experts wrongly

The professor of Wisconsin’s University Norm Fost destroys certain common misconceptions related to anabolic steroids. Although some specialists note about serious and even life-threatening unwanted effects of anabolic steroids, the doctor Fost denies these affirmations, confirming that they don’t have any scientific basis.
But statements of this expert are not so often quoted by media as statements about dangerous adverse results of steroids.  So, the message of Norm Fost that steroids are not so dangerous, as it is believed, is written once for every 500-time conclusion that steroids represent a real evil.
Moreover, editors usually mislead readers, writing the quotes of this expert incorrectly. For example, a headline of a radio talk sounds following: “UW-Madison doctor: steroids aren’t harmful at all”. The headline is wrong. It is misleading. Norm Fost has never clamed that steroids were not harmful at all. It is well-known that these substances can lead to various adverse reactions. Norm doesn’t deny probability of occurring  undesirable consequences. In fact, this specialist says some other things. Norm Fost notices that potential risks of steroids are significantly exaggerated. This expert denies the statement that steroids lead to the rare type of brain cancer. According to some sources, this led to the death of Lyle Alzado, a player of the NFL. Norm Fost claims that there is no any connection between the death of this player and steroids.
Alzado demonized his prolonged steroid abuse for the primary brain lymphoma that finally led to his death. Assertion of this player was the only evidence which supported the link between his intake of steroids and the brain cancer.
But a question appears here. Why did Alzado make public his steroid use, demonizing anabolic steroids for his illness? Couldn’t you find this fact strange?
In fact, it was said that AIDS had suppressed his immune system and induced destroying his body by the primary brain lymphoma.
A pathologist noted that Alzado had had T-cell lymphoma which was related to AIDS. According to Dr. Thomas DeLoughery, Alzado was afraid that the public would proclaim that he died from AIDS because of the cancer.
Pathologists at OHSU reported that this football player had had B-cell lymphoma that was not connected with HIV or AIDS.
The physician DeLoughery explained the case. He noted that T-cells of this person were inflamed but the malignant cells were B-cells.
While specialists disputed about AIDS and the type of cancer that Alzado had, nobody of them confirmed about links between his brain lymphoma and usage of steroids.

Anna Watson didn’t concede to the temptation related to steroid use

The University of Georgia cheerleader Anna Watson said that she was pressured to take steroids to get a fitness modeling contract. Her modeling agent indicated her to take Anavar to obtain needed 50 pounds of muscles. This person was tempted but finally she refused this recommendation. Anna Watson claimed that her body was “a temple” and she would not destroy it.
This person claimed that she had been tempted by intake of steroids numerous times. The agent made everything to present steroids as something good.
It was said that she would get a $75,000 per year fitness modeling contract, if she apply steroids and get 50 pounds of muscles. Anna Watson said that she told representatives of Elite Model Management in Paris. Elite is one of the most prestigious modeling networks. Such famous models, as Adriana Lima, Cindy Crawfors and Gisele Bundchen belong to Elite.
But Anna Watson preferred to be a cheerleader at the University to being involved in the glamorous world. Moreover, she rejected usage of steroids because this action wasn’t in harmony with her religious principles. this person noticed that she didn’t serve a modeling agent but God. Anna Watson added that she had been created as a nice creation. This lady made a conclusion that she would not violate her moral and religious principles only to take photos. Anna Watson  decided not to destroy her health.
Certain questions appear, reading these statements. Somebody can ask whether Elite Model Management looks for models who have the same appearance like competitive female bodybuilders. Or may be Anna Watson just desire to draw public’s attention by taking advantage of negative attitude to steroids?
It is said that if Anna Watson gets 50 pounds of muscles, she will be able to compete on national bodybuilding stage. But what is for contract of 75, 000 dollars per year? Sportspeople know that such sums of money are not received easily even in sports. But can such large sum of money be received from modeling agency? It is controversial.
Women that are involved in bodybuilding fight greatly to obtain prize money. Women with muscular bodies are more likely to get money from “schmoes” (men that have sexual fetish for muscular females) than from such prestigious modeling agencies, as Elite.

The supplement that was taken by Lawal contained the synthetic steroids Superdrol and Promagnon

King Mo Lawal admitted that he had used a dietary supplement that was tainted. As it turned out to be, that supplement contained 2 ingredients that were synthetic steroids. According to this person and his manager, consumption of this product led to positive for Masteron.
Lawal noted during an interview for MMA Hour that he had bought “S-Mass Lean Gainer” in a Max Muscle store in April, 2010. This product was manufactured by Steel Body Production.
But this is not the situation, when steroid ingredients are not disclosed. Synonyms of prohibited drugs are listed on the label of S-Mass Lean Gainer. In fact, these steroids were the subjects of some debates between anti-doping agencies and federal regulators since 2005. They are following:  2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol and 4-Chloro-17a-Methyl-a-andro4-ene3, 17b-diol. These medications are better known under the names: Superdrol and Promagnon.
As for Superdrol, it goes by methyldrostanolone, methasteron and 2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol. So, methylated version of Masteron was defined in the urine sample of King Mo Lawal by a proper lab of the anti-doping agency.
The pharmaceutical company Anabolic Resources was the first which sold Superdrol as a dietary supplement. It was over 5 years ago. This company was accused in elaborating of a new unapproved drug. Later Anabolic Resources pleaded guilty and admitted that they had marketed a synthetic steroid as a dietary supplement.  As a result, this company had to pay a fine of 500, 000 dollars.
As for Promagnon, it also originally appeared as a dietary supplement in 2005 by Peak Performance’ Labs. The government didn’t take any action against the company for manufacturing and selling this steroid. But this pharmaceutical company decided to stop manufacturing this steroid in 2006.
Although legal status of these two products is controversial, numerous companies have manufactured and distributed them as dietary supplements during about 6 years. Undoubtedly, persons who are involved in this industry know about the status of these products but they continue to sell them.
The manager for Lawal notes that the full responsibilities must be taken by the companies which market synthetic steroids as dietary supplements. He believes that such companies misguide users intentionally.

Jack O’Connell claimed that Ryan Braun would be allowed to receive his MVP awards

However Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers faces a suspension for usage of anabolic steroids, he accepted his Most Valuable Player Award at the dinner of Baseball Writers Association. This player didn’t acknowledge to usage of prohibited products. He claimed that he had turned to be a victim of a false positive. He fights against the results which have been proclaimed.
Altough it has been lately discussed whether steroid users are allowed to be voted for Baseball’s Hall of Fame, they don’t lose their Most Valuable Player awards. Even admitted consumers of steroids don’t forfeit their MVP awards.
Jack O’Connell announced that Ryan Braun would be allowed to keep the MVP awards. Earlier other steroid users were permitted also to keep their MVP awards. For example, Ken Caminity kept his 1996 MVP award; Alex Rodriquez kept his 2003 MVP award. Both these athletes acknowledged that they had taken steroids.
According to testosterone: epitestosterone (T: E) ratio, Ryan Braun had elevated level of testosterone in October 2011. The T: E ratio has manifested about exogenous type of testosterone. In fact, this test can’t display actual amount of used testosterone.
Another method of testing was used by the World Anti-Doping Agency accredited lab in Montreal to confirm the analysis of the T: E ratio testing. It was applied carbon isotope ratio testing that indicated about existence of exogenous testosterone.
Some sportswriters suggested that Ryan Braun should have forfeited his MVP awards because of the positives for prohibited medications. But this player made another decision. He decided to accept the awards and address with the speech about false charges with administration of steroids.  This American baseball player noticed that characters of persons are revealed in such situations of adversary. This baseball player claimed that he had a great respect to baseball. He added that he made a lot for his career in this sport but he had done everything with respect and appreciation to baseball.
It was said that Braun had been one of the youngest players of the Major League Baseball that didn’t feel needs to administrate steroids to be able to play. When this person found out about positive of Alex Rodriquez for steroids, he was too surprised.  He noted that Alex Rodriquez should have been enough honest to say about intake of controlled preparations.
Ryan Braun made a decision to fight against the results of his tests, claiming that unusual circumstances surrounded this situation. He mentioned that he would display his innocence and false positives.

A ban of 3 years for usage of prohibited medicines by an amateur cyclist

Administration of anabolic steroids and other drugs that increase performance is widespread among amateur and professional athletes. It isn’t surprisingly, when sportspersons test positive for controlled preparations. But there are some unusual cases, when a person tests positive for many forbidden drugs. Here is an example.
Alexandre Dougnier, a teenage amateur French cyclist tested positive for more than 10 forbidden substances, including more than 5 steroid metabolites. It was at a race in France in May, 2011. This person has received 3-year ban from competitions.
It was defined that this person had administrated such steroids, as Anavar, Dianabol and Winstrol. Other steroid metabolites which were found in his urine sample were following;  3-Hydroxystanozolol, 16b-Hydroxystanozolol, 4b-Hydroxystanozolol, Oxandrolone, epi-Oxandrolone, 6b-Hydroxymethandienone and 17-epi-Methandienone.
This young cyclist was a member of the Parisian Athletic Club de Boulogne-Billancourt. Several individuals note that this young cyclist might have been a follower of the club’s doper Jacques Anquetil. This person has been claimed to be a famous individual of cycling’s history. He was a member of the club de Boulogne-Billancourt in 1950s and 1960s. Jacques Anquetil was the first cyclist that had won the Tour de France 5 times. He had got also 2 Olympic medals.
Jacques Anquetil administrated steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. Moreover, this cyclist defended doping during a TV debate with the French sports minister. He noted that it was not possible to endure cold, heat waves and rain in mountains during cycling without doping. Jacques Anquetil mentioned that only a fool person would endure these conditions related to the extreme sport of cycling without performance-enhancing drugs. This celebrated cyclist noted that drug testing might deprive individual liberty. Jacques Anquetil said that everyone doped.
It is important to mention steroids were not so widespread among cyclists in 1950s and 1960s. Intake of more dangerous amphetamines was more widespread during those years. As for administration of anabolic steroids, it has become more enhanced during past two decades.
Let observe which affirmations have been said about steroids, when other cyclists have used them. When Floyd Landis was caught applying testosterone, it was claimed by his legal team that neither anabolic steroids, nor other performance-enhancing drugs were able to increase performance in cyclists.  As for the distributor of steroids Joseph Papp, he didn’t agree with this statement. He noticed that administration of steroids was widespread in elite cycling. According to his words, a person can apply testosterone gels in a clever way without being caught by anti-doping programs: users of transdermal testosterone should take in consideration detection time.
Alexandre Dougnier was not careful and didn’t attempt to avoid detection. He probably didn’t suggest that cyclists would be tested for banned medicines at the race in Aubervilliers.

Rampage Jackson says that King Mo Lawal has taken steroids to be able to fight

Quinton Rampage Jackson and King Mo Lawal don’t have good relations. They didn’t manifest their dislike to each other for certain years. During an interview Lawal noted about their relationships, noting that he doesn’t have good opinion about  Rampage Jackson who also doesn’t like him.
That’s why it isn’t surprisingly at all that Rampage Jackson commented on the fact related to Lawal’s positive for drostanolone (Masterone).
Jackson confirmed that it was quite evident that King Mo Lawal had used steroids. He said that Lawal was not a real fighter. He used steroids to be capable to compete.
Rampage Jackson claimed that there were fighters that were allowed to take steroids. He referred to those who had to use steroids for testosterone replacement therapy. This fighter noticed that it was a great difference between purposes. Fighters and other sportspeople are allowed to take steroids for TRT and not for enhancement of performance, according to this mixed martial artist.
He confirms that there are people that suffer from certain health problems. They consult their doctors that prescribe steroids. They use these products to become healthier and to stay competitive. But Jackson adds that there are fighters who administrate steroids in order to enhance their performance. It is quite sadly, according to this mixed martial artist.
Nonetheless, usage of steroids for testosterone replacement therapy by sportspersons is a quite controversial issue.
Such fighters, as Dennis Hallman, Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt and Dan Henderson acknowledged that they had administrated steroids because of hypogonadism.
So, Rampage is a fighter who confirmed about permission to use steroids as a part of TRT by sportspersons. But there are other fighters that don’t support this point of view. Many athletes have the same opinion as Michael Bisping has. They think that intake of steroids is just justified by medical conditions. They proclaim that all fighters that use anabolic steroids, noticing that they are on TRT, are cheaters.
King Mo Lawal says that he is not guilty, claiming that his manager has heard nothing about the steroid Masterone. Both this fighter and his manager confirm that they are really surprised by the results of the test.
A fight between Jackson and Lawal was waiting by many fans. There were certain rumors that they would fight in February, 2012. But the hopes of fans were not justified. Lawal has to serve a suspension.

Rousey said that she had known that Santos had used steroids

the president of the UFC Dana White announced about the end of the female featherweight division in Strikeforce. He noticed that it was related to positive of Christiane Cyborg Santos for Winstrol. Dana White claimed that this factor would induce the ending of the whole division. Santos lost her title. That’s why Dana White came to the conclusion linked with the end of the division.
It is believed that the president of the UFC didn’t suggest which would be the response of certain persons to the Winstrol metabolites that had been discovered in Santos’ sample. He didn’t except that a significant war would begin on Twitter between celebrated female fighters.
Rowdy Ronda Rousey that is the top of female MMA featherweight and that has received the bronze medal in judo noticed about her dislike to usage of anabolic steroids and her attitude to Cyborg Santos.
Rowdy Rousey made her thoughts about this issue public. She expressed them during an interview with TapouT Radio. Rowdy Rousey pointed out that usage of steroids was caused by uncertainty of fighters in their skills, strength and abilities. She pointed out that the decision to take performance-enhancing drugs came from the thoughts that the persons were not enough skilled to win in competitions. Rowdy Rousey confirmed that usage of steroids and other related medications manifested psychological weakness of consumers. According to this female fighter, this weakness induces lying.
Rowdy Rousey mentioned about her attitude to the suspension of Cyborg Santos during various interviews. This fighter talked to Mauro Ranallo during “The MMA Show” that she knew that Cyborg Santos had used forbidden preparations. This female fighter noted that she never had respect toward Santos. Rowdy Rousey concluded that she was glad to know out that Santos had been caught and suspended.
As for Chris Cyborg Santos, she became indignant because of Rousey’s affirmations. She wrote to her fans on Twitter that Rousey would be her next victim at the fight. The fight will probably be after successful serving of the ban by Santos. She believes that she will be welcomed by Strikeforce.
Santos wrote following wordsto Rowdy Ronda Rousey: “Proxima victim…Ronda! No mercy!!” Santos hosted a picture of Gina Carano after she defeated her at Strikeforce Female Championship. But she didn’t host the real photo. Instead of it, Santos applied Photoshop to exaggerate the damages which were inflicted by her upon Gina Carano.
Rousey didn’t hesitate a lot; she responded to the comments and the photo immediately. She had rough expressions for Cyborg Santos, blaming her for lying and for hosting  the picture, applying Photoshop.
Numerous persons claim that the war on Twitter between Rowdy Ronda Rousey and Christiane Cyborg Santos is more entertaining than certain real fights. It seems that this war is the preparation for the fight between Rousey and Santos that will probably take place in 2013.
