USADA continues to fight against doping in cycling

The USADA desires to know whether you have ever used anabolic steroids, EPO, HGH and/or other forbidden medicines. This fact may surprise you but the anti-doping organization doesn’t plan yet to stop the investigation connected with Lance Armstrong’s doping case. So, the investigation has not been ended. The USADA intends to investigate every cyclist. Especially suspected steroid users will be investigated.
The USADA desires to utilize the best methods in order to catch those that have ever administered forbidden medicines. What is the best way to clean cycling of steroid use? The USADA tries to define and utilize the best methods. This anti-doping organization is even ready to compare eradication of steroid use in cycling with that in South Africa.
The USADA says that those that use anabolic steroids and other related medicines should be punished. Consumers of anabolic steroids and/or other doping products are blamed as if they were criminals. They are often compared with those that commit violence and other serious crimes. Steroids are harshly demonized in the society. Thus, the USADA supposes that if steroids and consumers of steroids are demonized, it will be easier to elude doping.
Actually, the USADA asks the International Cycling Association to set up a Truth and Reconciliation Commission. The commission will investigate different cases related to doping. The Truth and Reconciliation Commission will try to fix why several cyclists have administered steroids and/or other performance-enhancing drugs but remained undetectable.
Furthermore, the USADA promises that “amnesty” will be provided to those who admit to using steroids and/or other banned drugs, ask for forgiveness, repent and tell everything linked with doping to the anti-doping agency, team physicians, teammates, friends, etc. If a former consumer of steroids says just truth, he will get the full amnesty. Thus, the USADA hopes to clean cycling completely.
Travis Tygart, the CEO of the USADA, claims that there are several cyclists connected with Lance Armstrong that have avoided detection. The Truth and Reconciliation Commission should identify them.
