The amateur rider and journalist Andrew Tilin was banned for 2 years. United States Anti-Doping Agency banned this person after he had admitted applying steroids for legal hormone replacement therapy. The admitting was made by the rider in own book that will be soon probably released. The title is following: “The Doper Next Door: My Strange and Scandalous Year on Performance-Enhancing Drugs” .
The book describes personal experiences of several people that took drugs that have performance-enhancing effects.
So, Andrew Tilin applied the steroid testosterone for hormone replacement therapy. It is quite clear. Actually, it is not yet clear whether this writer has mentioned about personal experience related also to other products which increase performance.

The ban of Andrew Tilin began in March 2011.
