Fight against administration of steroids and hypocrisy

It is known that anabolic steroids are frequently demonized. If an athlete or a bodybuilder administers steroids and/or other doping products, he/she is called a cheater. Sportswriters report about such athletes as about those who have destructed their reputation. Anti-doping officials put great efforts and spend money in other to determine whether certain athletes have doped. Even the government wastes taxpayers’ funds and time in order to prove that some sportspersons have taken steroids and/or doping products. It is claimed that those that dope take unfair advantages in sports.
Numerous articles describe the fight against steroids. But let think whether arguments against intake of steroids are strong enough to prove that it is disgraceful to use them.
It is confirmed that steroid-using athletes serve as a bad example for kids and young people. It is known that youth sees many sports stars that administer steroids and other related products. As a result, young individuals desire to look and be as strong, as these celebrated sports figures.  Furthermore, it is widely disputed about health dangers linked with steroids. But if you are attentive, you can see that these arguments are weak because they are full of hypocrisy.
Let examine the most frequently used arguments against application of anabolic steroids and/or other related preparations.
According to the first argument, intake of steroids is closely associated with certain potential health risks. Many articles warn about shrinkage of testicles and enlarged heart which may occur on account of steroid use. However it may be true, let analyze our life. We consume unhealthy food, however we know that it destroys our health. Several persons use antidepressants that are also very unsafe. We do also other unhealthy things.
According to another argument against steroids, steroid-using sportspersons take unfair advantages in competitions. They win because they increase performance with these medications. Let pay attention what happens in other areas, for example, in the world of entertainment.  Numerous actors and actresses improve their appearances and performances in order to play some roles in movies. They also have unfair advantages over others with the help of several surgeries and other things. But they are not sentenced to bans.
While it is stated that steroid-using sportspeople send bad messages to young people that desire to look like them and follow their examples, no one notices about the bad example of actors and actresses. Young girls also want to look like those they see in magazines.
While feds pursue sportspersons that take steroids, they have nothing to do with actors and actresses that act the same way.
It is clear that arguments against administration of steroids are quite weak. They display hypocrisy that reigns in our fake world.
