Steroids and nightmares of Jose Canseco

Jose Canseco, a former player of the MLB, has pointed out that he experiences nightmares linked with steroids. He has stated that he has begun to experience nightmares from the time of writing the book “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant Roids, Smash Hits and How Baseball Got Big”. This work reveled usage of steroids by some MLB players. Jose Canseco has noticed on his Twitter account that nightmares connected with steroids hunt him since he wrote the book. Moreover, he continues to experience them till today. The former professional baseball player compares them with a demon that never sleeps.
The former professional baseball player has called himself the “godfather of steroids in baseball”. Jose Canseco noticed in his book about usage of steroids by certain MLB players quite openly. This book has become a bestseller. The author has noticed names of the players that have used anabolic steroids. Jose Canseco claimed that he had been pushed out of professional baseball due to his book.
Jose Canseco identified such sportspersons, as Rafael Palmeiro, Ivan Rodriquez, Jason Giambi and Juan Gonzalez, claiming that they had applied steroids. He also mentioned names of Alex Rodriquez and Roger Clemens but he didn’t state that he had known about steroid use by these athletes directly.
The most famous name that has been mentioned by Jose Canseco in his book is the name of the former professional baseball player Mark McGwire that hit 70 homeruns. Canseco claimed that McGwire had administered Deca Durabolin and Winstrol, when they played with the Oakland A’s.
Canseco noted that he had injected Mark McGwire with steroids many times in the bathrooms and in other places. He noticed that he injected McGwire before their trainings or after them.
At the beginning nobody was inclined to believe that these statements were true. Mark McGwire denied intake of steroids. But later the accusations were proven. Finally Mark McGwire admitted that he had taken steroids and HGH. He said that Jose Canseco had written the truth.
McGwire admitted that he had used prohibited preparations and he had apologized about this factor. He noticed that he was administering them during the 90s. Later McGwire has got possibility to play baseball professionally again. Mark McGwire was engaged as a St. Louis Cardinals’ hitting instructor.
As for Jose Canseco, he dreams to obtain the 2nd  chance and to return to the MLB. The “Tigres de Quintana Roo” have decided to give the second chance. Jose Canseco hopes that this is his stop in direction to the MLB.
